Many parents are keen to know the sex of their baby before it is born. Using an ultrasound you can tell whether a baby is a boy or a girl.
The sex of a baby is genetically determined at conception, but during the early development they all look the same. It is very unlikely that you will get to know the sex in the first trimester.
Generally from 16 weeks is becomes easier to tell the sex of your baby. That is why we recommend gender scans from 16 weeks onwards. It still depends on how the baby lies. At FirstGlimpse4D we do have quite a good success record and will not tell you the sex unless we are really sure about it. That said, we are only human and can make a mistake.
